Corona Virus Information

Keep Your Pet will continue to support the health and welfare of vulnerable people in York through this crisis with the help of our amazing volunteers. We will be offering our full range of services, but with some non – essential service suspension and changes to how we deliver support  in order to comply with Government guidance and instructions. To ensure everyone’s safety,  these changes will be tailored to the service required and the individual circumstances of the volunteer and pet owner. All current service users have been contacted with any changes that affect their own service and to find out if any other support needs to be arranged.  All enquiries for a new service or urgent requirement should be made to Keep Your Pet on 01904 866070.

Whilst receiving a majority of its funds from Age UK York, Keep Your Pet cannot function at the current level without donations and fundraising events. The dog walk is the most important of these as well as the opportunity for us to meet with so many supporters. The pandemic has led to the cancellation or postponement of most of our other fundraising events this summer as they all involve getting people together.

Please consider giving your support for Keep Your Pet by making a financial contribution. You can do this by making a donation using the JustGiving button on the website.

Alternatively you can send a cheque to:

Age UK York (Keep Your Pet), 24 The Village, Haxby, York, YO32 2HT

Please mark the reverse of the cheque Keep Your Pet.

If you wish to Gift Aid  you should include an address for a gift aid form to be sent to you.
